Elementor injects fairly heavy CSS/JS — for larger sites you should always pair it with a caching plugin (WP Rocket / LiteSpeed Cache)

If you ever want to move to a different builder (Bricks, Breakdance), you'll have to rebuild everything — content + shortcodes are not portable
3. Updates occasionally break sites
